Cheesecake appetizer with avocado and smoked salmon


It is a very good looking recipe and is prepared when you have guests. You will definitely impress them. The recipe is quite simple, a plate of salted biscuits, a cream cheese and a layer of avocado mixed with smoked salmon, seeds, lemon juice, tomatoes… The topping is versatile and is made according to everyone's taste. The secret of this appetizer consists of ingredients: avocado to be well cooked, to be seasoned with salt and lemon juice, then salmon to be tasty and quality.

  • For the cookie sheet (2 servings):
  • 4 simple biscuits
  • 4 crackers salted crackers
  • 1-2 tablespoons cold milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted and cooled butter
  • For the cheese filling:
  • here I don't have fixed quantities, I made a larger quantity for sandwiches. I used salted sheep cheese, urda, sour cream, butter
  • For toping (2 people):
  • 2 pieces avocado
  • 100 gr smoked salmon
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2-3 cherry tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon seed mixture (flax, sesame, almond flakes, blackcurrant)

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Cheesecake appetizer with avocado and smoked salmon:

Biscuit countertop: put the biscuits in a food processor and grind. Add butter and a little milk and mix. No need to add salt because I used crackers.

Cream cheese: sheep's cheese and urda are put on the grater with large holes. Soft butter at room temperature is foamed with a mixer or a wooden spoon. Add the grated cheese and sour cream over the butter. Mix and refrigerate the composition for 30 minutes.

For topping: smoked salmon, avocado and cherry tomatoes are cut into cubes. Add lemon juice, a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper. Add the seed mixture and mix.

Assembly: a mounting ring is placed on a stretched plate. Put half of the biscuits, level with the back of a spoon. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cream cheese and level the composition with the back of a spoon. The last layer is avocado and salmon. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours. If you have guests, the aperitif can be prepared the day before. When serving, remove the ring and decorate the cheesecake according to your preferences.
